Trying to effectively design a small bathroom space can seem difficult at first, but if you take your time and plan it carefully, then you will undoubtedly get it right and achieve a fantastic space. Here are some of our tips on designing a smaller bathroom.
The biggest aspect of getting your small bathroom right is making sure that you have the perfect layout worked out. We cannot stress enough how important it is that the first thing you do is take all the correct measurements. This will give you an idea of how much space you are working with and you can then factor in 2-3 inches of space at either side to ensure that your new bathroom items like the Turner Hasting basin, will fit without any installation issues.
The smaller your bathroom is, the more creative you will have to start to become with your storage space. A Turner Hasting vanity is the perfect solution here as you can enjoy your Turner Hastings sink on top but with the added storage below for all your toiletries and cleaning products that you do not want to be left in sight. A corner vanity & sink can also be a great way to create more space in your bathroom.
If your bathroom is small but still big enough to fit in a freestanding bath, this is great news! However, the standard size of a bath can vary and so if you are set on getting one then you may need to opt for a small version. If you can live with the bath, you can always save even more space but getting rid of the bath and simply opting for a shower instead.
If you take this advice and decide to get rid of the bath for a shower, then you will also have to make sure that this is properly thought through too. In a small bathroom, a shower with a door that opens out into the room is not ideal and could even cause problems. Instead, you may want to think about opting for a shower with a sliding door as it does not require any additional room.
Do you need help and advice for your new bathroom setup? Our team here at Mimicoco are experts in the Turner Hastings range and can provide you with the information that you need to make an informed decision as to whether or not this is the right product for you.
